I explored the swamps of Caddo Lake by Canoe during the spring and summer of 2006. As a photographer I found the abundant bird life, intense beauty-and decay-were often visually overwhelming. To me it's a place where "everywhere you look" is worth exploring with a camera.  I paddled by day and night searching for  ways to translate this amazing place into photographs.
These images were captured with  Mamiya 6 medium format film cameras and are available as fine art prints.
